How does the AIRWAAV RX1 Recovery Mouthpiece work?

The AIRWAAV RX1 Recovery Mouthpiece uses Reflex Technology™ to gently move your tongue forward, opening your airway for better breathing during sleep. The small bumps inside the mouthpiece trigger your tongue to move forward, similar to how it instinctively goes to a popcorn kernel stuck in your tooth. This helps you achieve deeper, uninterrupted sleep and better recovery.

Will the RX1 help with snoring?

Snoring is caused by your tongue falling into the back of your throat during sleep and is caused by a variety of factors that are unique to the individual. AIRWAAV RX1 is designed to help guide your tongue forward and away from the back of your throat.

How long will it take to notice improvements in sleep quality and recovery with the RX1?

Many users report noticing improvements in sleep quality and recovery within the first night of use. For some, it takes a few nights to adapt, so consistent use is key to maximizing benefits.

Can the nasal strips help with snoring?

When dealing with nasal congestion, AIRWAAV Nasal Strips can help by opening nasal passages and improving airflow, providing relief you can feel right away. While we do not make any claims that they prevent snoring, many users have reported that they experience improvement when using them.

If you suspect that your snoring is linked to a more serious condition, such as sleep apnea, we always recommend consulting with a doctor. AIRWAAV Nasal Strips are not intended to treat sleep apnea or other medical conditions.

How do I know which size is for me?

AIRWAAV Nasal Strips come in two sizes: Small/Medium (5.5 cm long) and Large (6.5 cm long).

While most people can wear either size, we generally recommend the Small/Medium size for the majority of users, as it fits about 75% of adult noses. The Large size is best suited for those with wider or larger nasal structures.

How to Measure for the Best Fit:

  1. Measure Your Nose Width : Use a ruler or measuring tape to measure the bridge of your nose, just above where your nostrils flare.
  2. Match Your Measurement to a Size: If your nose width is less than 5.5 cm, choose Small/Medium (5.5 cm long). If your nose width is 5.5 cm or more, opt for Large (6.5 cm long).
  3. Check for Comfort & Effectiveness: The strip should feel secure yet comfortable, providing a noticeable lift without feeling too tight or too loose. If it doesn’t feel effective, try a different size.

Comfortable Well Made

"The fit process was easy. The fit was comfortable and I had no problem sleeping with this mouth piece. Unfortunately I did not gain the expected benefit ( less snoring) I have availed myself of the 30 day return window. Let me be clear the issue is me, not the mouthpiece"

Cynthia D. (3/5)

what a difference!

"I have tried several mouth guards for sleep with little success, including the expensive dentist-made version. My issue is clenching and there isn't really a good solution. But the first night I slept with my AIRWAAV mouth piece I noticed the difference. And now, several weeks later, it is much more notable the benefit I get when using the mouth piece versus when I do not. No more jaw pain, deeper and less interrupted sleep, and less headaches upon waking. That is good enough for me to keep using it every night!"

Megan M. (5/5)

It works.

"I’ve been using this mouthguard for two weeks now, and my sleep has improved so much. I used to use the popular Reviv mouthguard and other brands, but none of them worked for me. The AIRWAAV sleep mouthpiece has been a game-changer. If you grind your teeth, I highly recommend giving this brand a try!"

Pat (5/5)

Gamechanger

"AIRWAAV Recovery RX1 mouthpiece worked for me as advertised. Perfect fit. No pain or discomfort like other mouthpieces I tried. No more snoring. Best consecutive 2 weeks of sleep I’ve ever experienced."

Melvin M. (5/5)

It really helps

"I've been doing sleep apnea for 15 years and having to put a CIPA every night to sleep. The mouthpiece has reduced the amount of apnea im doing significantly. I can only recommend or at least give it a try. It took me about 3 days to get use too."

Gérôme M. (5/5)

Feels nice

"I have used them for a month and it feels nice. Tounge moves forward and I think they do the job. Snoring still the same for me, so not for erradicate it, but I think air flow is better."

Alfredo M. (5/5)

I need get it used to

"Well, for sleep I like that I don’t feel bad breath in the morning, although I think I need to go to sleep earlier to really see the results. As for the sport one, I like that it doesn’t feel like the air is restricted or that I’m running out of breath in my throat. It’s a good invention."

SALVADOR C. (4/5)

Great!

"Thank you for this product! For the first time I've found a mouthpiece that actually works! I'm extremely happy and look forward to better breathing, real rest and recovery."

Todd M. (5/5)

It seems to work

"I’ve used the recovery for a week and I seem to be sleeping better. I also have used one for working out and I haven’t noticed too much of a change, but I’ll give it a little more time to adjust to it."

Dean M. (5/5)

Bought for Parents

"They have been using it for a week now, they say they don't hear each other snore, so that's a plus. But they still don't get used to wearing it. So not sure if it works as it's supposed to, but the reason for my 5 stars is because of their customer service. They are amazing at solving problems without any runaround. Thank you."

The ridges on the new AIRWAAV Recovery allow my tongue to sit where it’s supposed to so I can breathe all through the night and wake up less. If you are someone who’s looking to improve your sleep or your recovery, the new AIRWAAV Recovery Mouthpiece is for you.

How it Works

The AIRWAAV Recovery Mouthpiece uses Reflex Technology™ and our patented fitting material to improve sleep quality and promote faster recovery. It’s scientifically proven to provide users:

OPTIMIZED BREATHING DURING SLEEP

The patented Reflex Technology™ activates the tongue’s natural response during sleep to direct the tongue forward to open the airway and prevent interrupted breathing.

IMPROVED SLEEP QUALITY

Studies have shown that opening the airway during sleep improves sleep quality. Using the RECOVERY mouthpiece helps ensure you are maximizing your time spent sleeping.

ACCELERATED RECOVERY

Better sleep leads to faster recovery. Quality sleep is crucial for athletes to properly restore energy, repair muscles, and prevent injuries.

A MOUTHPIECE DESIGNED TO SUPERCHARGE YOUR RECOVERY

AIRWAAV RECOVERY is designed to sit on your bottom teeth and helps place your tongue in the optimal position during sleep, moving it out of the airway. The opening of your airway will lead to improved breathing for a better night of sleep.

AIRWAAV RX1 RECOVERY

The AIRWAAV RX1 Recovery Mouthpiece is designed to work while you sleep. Our patented Reflex Technology™ activates the tongue’s natural response during sleep to direct the tongue forward to open the airway and prevent interrupted breathing. The result is better sleep quality and faster recovery.

How to Use Airwaav Recovery

1

Customize

Fit the mouthpiece using the microwave or boiling water and follow the fitting instructions included. Let the mouthpiece sit for 24 hours to allow material to shrink and ensure a snug fit.
2

Insert Airwaav

Before you fall asleep, place the mouthpiece on your bottom teeth and let the tongue move naturally. Do not force movement of the tongue or jaw.
3

Sleep

Allow the Reflex Technology to work while you sleep, opening the airway naturally for deeper, uninterrupted sleep and better recovery.
