TRUSTED BY PROFESSIONAL POWERLIFTING ATHLETES

“Fit, usability, and quality. These are the three things AIRWAAV exceeds at that does not only help me love this product but enjoy the use of it in my daily training sessions. One of the most reliable products I have ever used, let alone have the pleasure to work with.”

JESUS OLIVARES

PROFESSIONAL POWERLIFTER

"Wearing a mouthpiece has definitely improved my lifting performance. It allows me to stay tight while in the process of producing intrathoracic/valsalva pressure. The AIRWAAV has enough substance to protect my teeth and alleviate neck and jaw pain caused by the need to clench your teeth to develop this pressure. The best part, specific to AIRWAAV is that it isn't so noticeable that it is distracting or affects your breathing."

INCREASE

STRENGTH

AIRWAAV's patented bite plate ensures full tooth contact and aligns the jaw, which inhibits neuronal overexertion and reduces the body's natural tendency to limit muscle use. The result is an increase in muscular force when the mouthpiece is in.

INCREASE

ENDURANCE

When you gently clench on the bite plate and direct your tongue down and forward under the front intake bar, AIRWAAV causes a reflex in the body that opens the airway and reduces respiratory rate by up to 20%, resulting in less lactic acid production and lower perceived exertion during high intensity exercise.

FASTER RECOVERY

AIRWAAV is scientifically proven to reduce cortisol production post-workout by up to 50%, which has been shown to speed up recovery times for athletes.

IMPROVE MOBILITY

Clenching on the mouthpiece reduces tension in the muscles, known as muscle tone, resulting in improved mobility during movements that demand rotation in the neck, shoulder, hip, or trunk.

FAQ

AIRWAAV stands out with its uniquely designed mouthpiece, which improves breathing, strength, recovery, and mobility. Lasting 6-9 months on average, its lower fitting and low-profile fit enhances user experience, while being supported by over 15 years of peer-reviewed research. Additionally, all mouthpieces are proudly made in the USA.

Adjusting to the AIRWAAV™ Performance Mouthpiece may take time. We suggest a gradual integration into your routine:

Week 1: Start with warm-ups or low-intensity steady-state cardio.

Week 2: Progress to intense lifting or cardio.

Week 3: Utilize it across all aspects of your training.

Excessive saliva or dry mouth might occur but will dissipate over time.

AIRWAAV is scientifically proven to reduce cortisol levels post-workout by up to 50%, which has been shown to speed up recovery times for athletes.

Aside from measurable improvements, observe changes in perceived exertion, breathing patterns, and overall endurance. Also, watch for enhanced range of motion, reduced body tension or feeling more stable during lifts.

Typically, AIRWAAV lasts about 9 months, with the possibility of extending up to a year, depending on how often it's used and the user's clenching habits.

We recommend using the AIRWAAV Mouthpiece Cleaner, a natural cleanser designed specifically for our mouthpiece and case. This alcohol-free solution utilizes Hypochlorous technology, providing a powerful and gentle way to deep cleanse your mouthpiece without harsh chemicals.

The Performance Mouthpiece molds to the bottom teeth and is designed to fit adults. If the mouthpiece feels too long, feel free to trim the ends to your preference.

We recommend both oral and nasal breathing, while keeping the tongue under the intake bar.

Keep your tongue tucked under the intake bar (the bar behind your bottom front teeth).
