Brian Shaw

4x World's Strongest Man

Airwaav Athlete

"That mouthpiece going in is my trigger. I loved AIRWAAV immediately. Low profile, I felt like I could breathe better, I could communicate, it was comfortable to wear in my mouth, and I got all the performance benefits. So it was a really immediate thing that I genuinely loved and it became super important for me to have, and I will not train without it."

Born in Fort Lupton, Colorado, Brian Shaw built his athletic foundation on the basketball court, finishing his college career at Black Hills State University on a full scholarship. Lifting started as a way to improve his game. In 2005 he entered Denver's Strongest Man with no formal strongman training and won. He turned pro the following year.

What followed was one of the most decorated careers in strongman history: four World's Strongest Man titles (2011, 2013, 2015, 2016), three Arnold Strongman Classic wins and a record 16 consecutive World's Strongest Man appearances. He closed out his competitive career in 2023 by winning the Strongest Man on Earth at his own Shaw Classic. Today he shares his training with millions through his SHAWSTRENGTH YouTube channel. Brian partnered with AIRWAAV in 2025, and the Shaw Strength Edition mouthpieces carry his name.
