Marcus Filly is the creator of the Functional Bodybuilding training method, and CEO and Founder of Revival Strength. He is a 6x athlete at The Games (2016 12th fittest) and has decades of experience coaching and designing both individual and group training programs for clients worldwide. Marcus has an extensive training background and has also competed in baseball, golf, and Division 1 collegiate soccer.
Marcus’s passion for helping others live healthy lives led him part way through medical school, until he turned his career focus to coaching. After the peak of his competitive career, suffering from burnout and injury, he developed training that blends bodybuilding methods with functional movements to help others look good and move well - with a focus on longevity, strength, and aesthetics. Marcus currently leads a team of coaches and creates online Functional Bodybuilding training, nutrition, and education programs. He also co-hosts the Look Good Move Well podcast. Marcus lives in San Rafael, CA with his wife, Megan, and two daughters.
About 5 years ago Marcus had a custom jaw alignment mouthpiece made for him for a total of $500. It was his secret weapon at the time. Eventually, it wore out and he couldn’t justify paying for a new one since he was no longer competing. Marcus came across AIRWAAV mouthpiece and has been training with it ever since. He enjoys all of the important benefits that it delivers and notices the improved fit and durability compared to the previous mouthpiece.
